Build A United States Coin Type Set

Type sets of United States Coins have always been popular with Coin Collectors. With the cost of putting together a complete date and mint mark set of just about any series of coins getting more expensive all of the time, a type set can offer a great amount of flexibility. A type set can be assembled in any grade, making the set affordable to everyone. A type set containing all good grade coins can offer a challenge, just as can be acquiring the set in uncirculated condition. We have provided some ideas for putting together a type set. Your budget and collecting favorites will, of course, determine your set of choice. Have fun!

  • Coronet Head Liberty $2 1/2 Quarter Eagle - 1840 to 1907

  • Coronet Head Liberty $5 Half Eagle - 1839 to 1908
  • Indian Head $5 Half Eagle - 1908 to 1929
