We have all heard and read about the fabulous GSA hoard of Carson City Morgan Dollars that was sold by the Government in the early 1970's.
In 1997, the Government packaged and sold Morgan Dollars that were stored for over 100 years in the vaults of the San Francisco Mint.
I can find no other example of this type of Government Issued Morgan Dollar available for sale now. Since there are thousands of GSA Packaged Carson City Dollars available on the market, this type of packaging may be very rare!
Though the COA states that the coin is "previously circulated", it is in fact MS60. The Dollar is dated 1882-O, which seems unusual that it was stored at San Francisco.
